Whats the best polish you guy's use on your Cherry Bomb. And does it make
the ball react like new again.I had our pro shop guy sand mine with 600 and polish it yesterday i tried to use it during a tournament, It didn't react
like it did before. Do you think he should have gone higher with the sanding like 800 or 1000 ? I have a lot of hand and speed. But the reaction i got was that the ball used up it's energy at the front of the lane and was calm on the back. The ball still clearded the front but just didn't have that snap anymore ?
Whatcha think ? i need to take it up some more with the sanding then polish

I use the one and only Mothers Aluminum and Chrome Polish.

or your local Wal-mart

When you polish a bowling ball you are like shaving off the surface of it's traction. The only way to bring back the traction is to clean the pores of the bowling with a strong cleaner. Try to sweat the bowling ball of the polish that you applied. The polishes that you use clogs the surface of any given surface and if sand it. It will just get it more clogged and unresponsive.
Use a hair dryer and apply some of the hot air to the ball and you will see a gooey liquid coming out. Clean it with simple green as you blow the hot air on it. Until it is entirely dry. Later you clean it with alcohol.

Description: The Elixir's main purpose is to slow down and virtually eliminate oil absorption into todays new high tech expensive coverstocks. This is accomplished by a chemical process that does not affect the overall performance of the coverstock. It allows all coverstocks to function as they were intended whether Particle, Reactive Resin or Urethane. Whether the coverstock is polished or dull the Elixir adds performance.
You will notice the difference. I have done it with other balls and they really move and do not get saturated with oil and dirt. Bowling balls just need
TLC.
