Title: cigarette smoke smell in ball

Has anyone ever bought a used ball or was given a ball that smelled like cigarette smoke? I have two (cough, cough, excuse me).... is it possible to remove this most awful smell from the bowling ball?  any suggestions?  thanks!!

Put it in your bowling bag next to a Gravity Shift.  Then it will smell like a backed up toilet.

gravitys are by far the most scentful balls EVER! omg i had one in my trunk in my car in a bag zipped up and it made my whole car smell like chocolate cherry

Put it in your locker/bag with a Storm Thunderstruck Solid and it will smell like a grape. When i open my locker that's all i can smell.(But it's a good smell).

I'd try the hot water bath method, it should help..

the scent might never go away but hot water will help.

the heat will make more "smelling" molecules come out than the normal room temperatuer and they will be in the water.

What ball are you talking about?

I would try wiping out the hole with Acetone. =:^D

Tsunami and Golden nugget.... i've done the sand down hot water bath, it helped the golden nugget more than the Tsunami.  Might try to find me a gravity shift!

Run 'em through the dishwasher with the "dry" function turned off.  Bet they won't smell after that.
