Cleaner for G-force Nebula
« on: July 22, 2008, 01:28:31 PM »
I just got a Nebula and was wondering what to clean it with after bowling?
I haven't throw it yet. I use storm reacta clean on all my other equipment , but I never had a particle ball before.

Thanks in advance!!

I have found a new bal lcleaner called Zapp It that is absolutely the best cleaner I have ever used...plastic, urethane, pearl resin, solid resin, particle, pearl particle.,...works great on everything.

Before I found Zapp It I liked to use Clean N Dull. My 3rd favorite cleaner is Brunswick Remove All.

If you're happy with the results of Reacta Clean on your balls, it'll work just fine on the Nebula. Resin or particle, they both based on resin. Both need regular cleaning to inhibit oil absorption. Balls should be cleaned after each use, before they are put back in the bag.

Use Clean and Dull to do a deep cleaning every 25 - 40 games it will extract a little but of oil from just below the surface of the ball.

When you notice a performance reduction, you should do an oil extraction. This depends on the ball, the coverstock, its surface (dull balls absorb oil quicker than polished because they're used on more oil), your rev rate and the amount of oil you bowl on. Most balls suffer some to a lot of perfoamce reduction in 50 - 100 games. Sometimes it's so gradual you don't notice it sometimes it's more sudden.
