Buzzsaw/c silver life expctancy
« on: November 25, 2003, 01:35:31 AM »
Two years ago I got back into the game after an extended layoff and the second ball I purchased was an origional buzzsaw/c silver. From then until now this has been the first ball out of my bag. I get my best read using this ball. I`ve had the ball brought back too box finish once and i`ve used doc`s elixer on occasion besides ocassional cleaning with 409. My question is when can I expect this ball to finally die on me and what ball would be a good replacement, and,  is anyone else still using the origional silver.

The Silver Diamond's coverstock is Brunswick's PowerKoil 18. It has proven, since it first came out in 1997, to be almost indestructible. Keep it relatively clean, resurface it when its track begins to make the ball hook too early, and my best guess is 800 - 1000 games. Absolutely tons of people are still using their original Danger Zone in my neck of the woods.

Thanks for the response to my post. Looks like I made the right ball purchase for the long haul.
