I love the Cobalt.
mine is drilled up with pin directly below the ring finger and CG swung right 1 1/2" no X-Hole.
For me its for heavy medium to light medium lane conditions.
If the shot is dry you need to put it away.

Great ball, as long as the front part of the lanes are not fried, Glides thru the heads but you need to have strong backends, gets kinda over/under on carrydown, If it drys up put it away, Great ball over all.

awesome ball, goes very long, snaps very hard, but once the heads are dry, put it away, if you dont, it will leave some nasty splits......but overall its a great ball, here is how mine is drilled....http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=3/7610560480.jpg&s=x11

Drilled mine 5 X 5 stacked and it flips HARD on clean backs.
My Cobalt is great as long as I am on top of my game. However, there is absolutely no forgiveness with this ball if you miss with your speed or hand position. I have had one great set with this ball, one average set, and two pitiful sets. I am still unsure if this is a keeper for my game. I will give it a few more tries before hanging it up.

hard ball for me to control drilled stacked so ultimate backend and it is a monster on the backend.  i find i need a lil carrydown to keep it under control not alot tho.  when all dries expect tons of splits for the wierd angles it enters the pocket.  Like the previous post i have to be on top of my game for this one.  It is alot stronger than advertised mainly because it makes it up on the backend

I have also found the Cobalt to be a little finicky in the short time I have had mine.  Wouldn't you know, every time I practice with it, it seems like the perfect ball, and then I go to pull it out in league and throw a split or two.

I feel like once I have more time with this ball, I will learn when and where to use it.  For now, it mostly stays in the bag in favor of either my Tsunami or Silver Diamond.

It is a great feeling watching this ball scream back on the backend, though...
