How does the HRG compare to the Cobalt pearl? Are they to close have both?
-
I have both, and they could not be more different.
The HRG is a low flaring ball. It is very smooth and predictable. Great ball for control. I love this ball on a medium to light THS especially when there is a dry OOB ob the outside and/or flying backends. I like this ball so much I have two of them (drilled and surfaced differently).
The Cobalt Pearl is all about skid snap. I like to use the Cobalt Bomb when the track is fried and you are forced inside. The Cobalt Pearl gets down the lane with ease and then puts the turn signal on!

ya I was wondering about he HRG's strength as well, only compared to the Supernova XP, which I haven't drilled yet.
Will the HRG compliment the XP if drilled the same, and handle less oil?

I thought my Hammers hit hard, until I whipped a LM/L ball into the pocket. WOW!

-Terminator
-Big Bang
-Buzz
-Black Widow
-Hawgzilla
-Spare Tire
