Yeah, that was a test ball and one of the formulations they tested had a 10% load instead of teh production run 5%....

Just more proof that pbanut is a Lane 1 employee or similar. That's where he was getting all of those super-rare balls NIB....

It should say "5%, more particle load than production models."  As in 5% total and the production models have a 3% particle load.  Not 5% and 10% per say.

I was just going on their own published ad which says 3%.  I suppose they could have made a last minute tweak but they haven't changed their ad yet.  My guess would be they orignally were going to do 5% hence the ebay ball and later decided to do 3% hence the ad.

Wll then who is Joe Moro. I have purchased from pbanut on Ebay and he swears he is not directly affiliated with Lane#1 and is just a local proshop to them.  One way or the other I don't see any reason to hide an affiliation.

Joe Moro is the designer and retailer for the Pro Release. He does live here in upstate NY. Other than that I do not know anymore.

I'm from Syracuse, but have been in the Army for fifteen years. i used to bowl in a junior league with Richie; haven't seen him since. I was home around March this year and stopped in Strike-n-Spare lanes in Mattydale. They sell a lot of Lane #1 stuff; correction, they drill a lot of Lane #1 stuff there. Most people get it directly from Lane #1 there, which distributors raise hell about because they'll  sell a ball right out of the warehouse to a guy off the street for the same price the proshops pay for their balls.  
Anyway, Somebody there may know this guy or BE this guy. There is a pba member sponsored by Brunswick that operates out of there, not one of the 6 listed on the "B" website and I can't remember his name. I only know you can get a lot of his very low mileage balls cheap from that shop. I almost picked up a smokin inferno with about 3 games on ot for $80 right after it came out, but I had no spot for it in my aresenal. He also had a Dry/R BEFORE they came out that he didn't want and I was going to pick that up cheap as well.
Sorry for getting off topic, but I guess I got a little nostalgic.

BTW, I don't know what the production balls have, but the ad does say "5% particle MORE than the production balls". Should have said 5% more partcle vice particle more, but same meaning.

Joe is a good person, I brought a lot of 2nd hand ball from him, he is a great seller ! don't know why he got so many 2nd hand lane#1 ball for selling.
