Coverstocks
« on: September 06, 2010, 12:43:18 PM »
Hola everyone,

Been a while since I've kept up on the latest and greatest, so I was curious how Lane #1 covers have been lately.

My last purchase was a SuperNova XP and a XXXL. Both had spider web cracking near the finger grips, and I've had a SuperNova with brittle cover stock material that broke off on the side and a BuzzBomb that cracked.

Basically, since they switched to 900 Global or whatever they're called, the quality of the covers have been absolutely terrible. The reaction the balls get are fine, it's just the durability I have a problem with.

I should also say that I've bought them from online retailers for the most part, so maybe they were blems and I was a sucker, but who knows. My luck can't be that bad? I never had a misplaced pin or weird weight.

Let me know how your new equipment has held up recently. I'd rather stick with L#1 because I know the equipment gets along with my game, but I wont hesitate to try someone else if G900 is still in the mix and making subpar coverstock materials.

Thanks~
