I don't get it....

From what I had heard, the Tsunami is supposed to have a higher hook potential than the h2o.  But at the trade show I went to, it seemed to me like the Tsunami merely had more backend, but didn't cover more boards.  Actually I was able to play a little straighter up the lanes (even after they had been bowled on for 6 hours) than with the h2o.  This kind of reminds me of how the smokin inferno was labeled to be a little stronger than the absolute, but it longer with more backend.

It was supposed to be +5 in overall hook, length and backend or something.

Odd wayne.  For some reason it was the "longer and stronger" of the two.  Then again, I was probably changing my releases to compensate the line I was playing.  I can't remember specifically.

Someone will no doubt correct me if i'm wrong, but other than the cover being solid instead of pearl, didn't they invert the core?  If so, that could be contributing to the different look.

JMac, That is what I understand also. The hybrid coverstock with the inverted H2O weight block, 5% longer & 5% more backend than the H2O.
