Title: Cranberry or Black cherry bomb?
Post by: Bogeyman on January 19, 2004, 08:09:34 AM
I have a question for the more experienced Lane 1 users. I am looking at trying a Lane 1 ball. I want a solid reactive to play more of an inside line, 20 and in at the arrows. I am more of tweener. 330 revs, Ball speed is 15-16 at the pins axis rotations for my A game is 50 degrees. Which ball would you suggest? and which drilling?

Thanks

No doubt in this Saw Mill head of mine; the BCB all the way, or wait for the new Uranium Buzzsaw.

I have to agree with Dave, I would buy the BCB as well.  I have seen many people really like their BCB.  I think that the Cranberry might be somewhat inconsistant from inside. Just my opinion.

You might want to wait for the Uranium, because it probably will replace the cranberry in the lineup.

Thanks for the reply's. I had not really though about the Golden Nugget. I seem to have a hard time getting particle balls to turn the corner from inside. I have a Silver Streak pearl that works great if there is no carrydown. So I though a strong solid would work out best.

How long do you think it will be before Lane 1 puts up there spec for the Uranium?

The more I think about it, the golden nugget would be a great fit.

The Golden Nugget works for me. It is the only ball I own which includes Ebonite, Storm, and Brunswick that I can get to turn the corner from the inside with the low revs and slower to medium speed that I have.

Cranberry would go to long. Get the Black Cherry Bomb!
