Cranberry or Pearl (Original) Uranium
« on: September 28, 2004, 05:33:34 AM »
I'm thinking about giving Lane#1 another try, so I need some input from those in the know....

My intent is to set up either a Cranberry or a Pearl Uranium as a step up from my Blazing Inferno (medium dry). Now before anyone suggests it, I don't want a to set up a regular Inferno. I want a ball in the Lane#1 line that will give me the same controlled arc reaction, but just a step up from the Blazing Inferno when there is a little more oil.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

Thank you all for the responses. Actually, there were many more responses in the thread (T-GOD, Doug Sterner, etc.), but they disappeared. Anyway, I appreciated the input.

After thinking about it further and looking at where I have holes in my existing lineup, I decided to go with the Uranium Solid. The original looks interesting, but would overlap too much of what I currently have. I know the solid is more aggressive than the original, but I only have one aggressive reactive currently at my disposal (most of my oil balls are particle). The Uranium solid probably won't overlap what I currently have.

The ball showed up at the shop yesterday, and I'll be throwing it for the first time later this afternoon. The cover is really nice looking, but I was surprised at how dull the ball is in box condition. However, it looks tuneable.

I'll report back soon.
