Lane 1 on cracks.

I've owned a few Lane 1's and they all have cracked on me,some sooner than later and mostly the older stuff.was this a common problem or was I just unlucky?

Sounds like a problem on your end.  Driller using dull bits, pin too close to a hole, too much super glue on the inserts, poor storage... I had two older ones (Pro Purple, Cherry Pearl) and two newer ones (Tsunami, XXXL) and never had any cracking issues.

As you can see by my signature I have several older Saws and none of them show any signs of cracking anywhere I agree with Strider on this one

Like I've said elsewhere...  I've got 15+ Lane#1 balls New and Old, including the first 4 Lane#1 balls produced,  and zero cracks...

I had the pearl carbide & the cranberry crack around the fingers. Nothing to do with the pin , just slight cracks around both finger holes. Not between the bridge either. I figure it had to do with the inserts. Both resins of pk18 even though the carbide pearl had particle load.

I have had at least 8 saws with cracks if you are out west in higher heat all balls crack over time, I live in Vegas no way to keep older balls from cracking with the 110 degree plus summers. I have put them in a/c controlled rooms does not matter and never will, cracks are part of life when it this flipping hot.

I had a Blueberry crack all the way around about six months ago then last week my old Black Buzzsaw/C with orange/red lettering, not sure which, cracked all the way around.  Other than those, all my Buzzsaws held up extremely well.  Now I'm looking for a Buzzsaw/C 15 LBS.  Anyone have one?

If thats happening you are keeping them in way to hot of temprature's. I live in Arizona and in the summer it gets sometimes to 120 degrees here and the only time I have seen a bowling ball crack all the way around is when someone runs around with them in the trunk of their car all the time they will crack every time when you do that
