I'm looking at buying a curve will it work on carrydown I play on a second shift league  first league on lanes are plastic ball bowlers

I think what zeus might be suggesting is that because it's a particle pearl, it should handle a certain amount of carrydown, BUT because it comes highly polished, it can be thrown through the breakpoint and/or carrydown very easily if you have more ball speed than revs or if there is too much oil for the polish and your delivery or if you have drilled it too weakly for the above.

My Curve is what I go to in this situation and it works great. You might want to hit it with 4000ab or maybe even 2000ab very lightly if it blows through the breakpoint, but go easy with the sanding, mine became almost unusable for that condition the duller I got it, hooking earlier and earlier and covering way, way more boards.
