Cherry Bomb Pearl/Cobalt Bomb Pearl

I know both of these have a reputation for having a huge backend, I have a cobalt that I love, I was wondering how the cobalt compares to the Cherry Bomb Pearl.

I believe the Cobalt can handle more oil than the Cherry, and that it is like the CB on Performance Enhancing Drugs, which by the way is not illegal yet for bowling balls.

It's opposite for me also. My cobalt has too much over/under reaction - hard to control.On oil, you have to have your speed dialed up on Cobalt or you'll see the ugliest splits in your life.

lane1who and roy have it dead on, i think the cherry bomb pearl is more midlane and the cb more backend with a little less oil handling ability

I have been using the Solid Cobalt for a few days now it is GREAT reads the lane well but doesn't flip like the Pearl does.It reacts kinda similar to my Cherry Bomb or my Blueberry....

I agree with this for the most part, and I own both balls.  Both balls will slide very long, but the Cobalt gives a little more recovery at the back.  As far as read in the midlane, it is negligible for both balls.
