Dirty Bomb
« on: February 26, 2007, 09:24:28 PM »
Give me some characteristics of these balls???? I picked one up last night for a song..... I threw it a bit but it was not fit to me...... seems VERY smooth on the backend to me, on a house shot anyhow..... however I threw it 3 shots on the cheetah and it just came screaming back.......
What are your thoughts???

Mine's a pretty aggressive skid flip reaction.  Pretty angular on the backend. It certainly covers alot of boards in the last few feet. I love the hit and carry.  I bowl on a fresh med/heavy THS.  I haven't really thrown it an any carrydown.
Rock On!

Strength is similar to HRG, but the DB is more angular at the breakpoint.

the ball is a nice skid flip on med oil if you throw it on heavy oil it will glide threw the backend and never flip and set up in the pocket resulting in a light hit.mine drilled label 1:30 and when its got a good shot going it can strike oln after another. oh and it looks awesome going down the lane.

This only confirms the statement "beauty is in the eye of the beholder".
The DB is by far the most hideous looking Lane #1 ball I own.
When I need to make someone puke, I whip out the DB.

I just sold one of mine to a friend. He's shot 700+ everytime with it, including a 300, and 269 last night with it. It's pin under ring, cg stacked, weight hole.

Mine I still have is pin over and right of ring, cg stacked, weight hole. Great ball for broken down lanes, or played straighter on a fresh/heavier shot. It's and awesome ball.
