dirty bomb hybrid surface prep.

What would a 1000 or 2000 grit abralon pad prep do
to the reaction of the Dirty Bomb Hybrid?

That depends on what the surface has now. If it's polished & you hit it with say 2000grit abralon, it will probably read the lane a little earlier & mellow the turn on the back just a little.

It's sanded 1200 grit polished.

I think the best thing to do is try a 2000 grit & see what the ball does on a similar lane condition. If it is shiny & you hit it with 4000, it with just knock the sheen off. If you use 2000 it wll appear a little duller & probably smooth out the reaction a bit a possibly handle a touch more oil. If you don't like the reaction, you can always polish it again.

Out the box is polished. I don't know what grit it is.
