When I leave splits, it's usually because I get the ball way right of the breakpoint driving through the 3 pin. I dont leave many splits going through the nose for some reason. However...........since I've been using my Hybrid Dirty , drilled with pin below ring finger, I have never left so many splits going high. It's me throwing it I know, but most of my other equipment doesn't split that much when hitting the same area at the pindeck.
I was just bowling earlier today and I left about 4 4-9 splits. And uncountable number of just huge splits. I've never left so many splits with a ball in my life. I dont know quite what causes it. Is the ball driving that hard? My Backyard Bully, roughly covering the same amount of boards yet different motion, didn't leave one split when going high. I dont get it. Going light or flush the HDB just destroyed the rack but high, is disasterous. I dont need advice, I'm more than capable of adjusting, but whenever I do pull the ball or get it to the dry too fast, I can just about turn my back as I'm sure it will split. Does anyone else have similar experiences? I'm not knocking the ball, it's growing on me, but for me, it's like: FOR GOD'S SAKE, DONT GO HIGH
