Do I keep the same drilling?
« on: November 30, 2006, 01:03:18 PM »
I have 4 Lane #1 balls, either drilled pin above and CG swung, or pin below and cg swung. I love the reaction I get, I should say pin action/controlability that I get with these drills.... I have

Pearl Carbide Bomb pin Under
Nugget pin under (still needs plugged but have used it)
Nugget pin between fingers cg stacked
H2O pin under
Purple Pro pin above
Silver Diamond pin above

and I have a cobalt pearl on the way...what drilling should I go with...how much different would this react than the others drilled the same way... will it retire my Pearl Carbide Bomb??????

I'd keep the same drilling, CG swung out. It should be inbetween the Pearl Carbide Bomb and the H2O. Not quite as skid snappy as the PCB and more on the back than the H20. +:^D

Well I got the Cobalt Pearl today and threw it tonight on dry, so dry my H20 was smacking the brooklyn side consistantly, and I had to adjust speed with this ball to get it to the pocket. seems a tad touchy to hand but then what pearl isn't. The getting to the pocket may have been caused by an overabundance of oil in the coverstock.... I tossed it in the oven tonight..and I thought I was going to have an oil slick in the kitchen.... I bet I see a different ball the next time I throw it.... Oh and it is drilled pin above and to the right of the ring finger, cg pretty much directly below it..if I don't hit it, she doesn't jump off the dry...
