Dirty Bomb retired? Lineup change speculation...
« on: July 09, 2006, 05:47:43 PM »
I see Billy Ray's website with closeout specials on the Dirty Bomb.  Is it really being discontinued?  This is a sad day if this is true; I would rank the DB as my favorite pearl ball ever, just above the Uranium Pearl.  Lots of HUGE scores with this loyal old companion.  Can anyone confirm that this is the case?

I wonder if the replacement (in addition to the Cobalt) will be a new pearl with the new Octane cover from Big B.  I wonder about what core matchups will be used?

Also, does anyone know or care to speculate on what the cover on the new Solid Cobalt will be?  I am hoping for Activator Max; I love it on the Scorchin' Inferno.

Dirty Bomb Pearl discontinued ?!?!

This is a sad day

I'm assuming that the Cobalt is/has taken the place of the Pearl DB.

..and I would bet money that the upcoming solid Cobalt with the replace the Hybrid DB...Now that will be an even more dpressing day !!!!

yes the DB pearl is being retired, at least that was the last rumor i heard and has been circulating for the better part of 2 months on here now, I would venture the cobalt and cobalt solid may indeed be a replacement but IMHO these 4 balls are all night and day fo each other so who knows
