Drilled me a couple Saws, can you believe it???

Hey you Saw Freaks!!!

Sales have been picking up in my shop for some of the Lane 1 balls, kinda like if you have it they will come.  I started stocking them, and now people come asking about them all the time.  Like The One, I wanted to check and see what all the hype is about.

Anyway, some of these balls have looked interesting for a long time.  I drilled a Hybrid Dirty Bomb.  Man, does that ball roll sweet.  I only bowled a couple games with tonight, so gimme another week or two and I might be able to do a review.  

Pin under my middle finger (Almost 5" from my PAP) with the CG/MB kicked to the right at about a 60 degree angle.  Low Rev hole.  Good length with a firm, controllable back end movement.  So far, so good.  More later.

Also acquired a used Bullet a couple weeks ago.  Pin over the middle finger (5" to PAP) with the cg in the grip, no hole.  This ball goes super long, needs some clean back ends, or it backs up.  Hits good with enough back end, but if there is carry down, puke.  Rolls good, I like it.

Congrats...  But have you seen all the other posts about buying your first Lane#1?

HA!  I am the original SawFreak!  Glad you like your Saws.  Funny thing, my HDB and I didn't get along very well.  I think I got a blem or something, because mine only ever skidded dead straight.  

Cover changes, layout changes, even my local cranker extraordinaire could barely get it to turn up.  I am pretty sure I didn't get the experience of a "true" HDB.  This is the only ball from Lane #1 I have ever had that happen with, though...

I actually wouldn't mind getting my hands on another one to see what it is "supposed" to do.

Sawfreak I have to agree with you on the HDB. Its the only saw I did not care for also, would not move more than 1 or 2 boards. But the HDB my daughter has rolls really strong.
Two different layouts mine pin under RF CG swung right 1 1/2
My daughters Pin directly above bridge CG swung right 3/4".

My first Saw was the Solid Uranium I picked up a couple of months ago.  By far the best ball I've owned.  Like I've said in previous posts, it's replaced every other ball in my bag.  I've never had such a wide pocket with any other ball.  I've bowled well with it on everything from Heavy/long patterns to second shift burn-outs.
I love this ball.  Even though I've bowled well with it, I want another.  Just haven't decided which way I should go.  I have mine polished and drilled long and strong.  I'm thinking either, Tsunami or another Solid U, but leaving it OOB.
