Title: e-bay uranium
Post by: Sawuser on January 02, 2006, 02:56:01 PM
I took another look at this ball to see if I might be interested, but it looks like seller is trying to disguise the layout. It appears to be for a full roller or a Girard layout. The pin is definately down by the thumb & to the left on track side. If so, that would require a full plug & the plugged area may end up in an undesirable area. Unless of course you have a full roller track!! Check it out.

Considering the seller is turborev....who most of us know that it is PBA bowler Rudy "Revs" Kasimakis, I would guess it would be more of a Girard layout or something to reduce flare.

Well, nope, I was not aware of that. If it's one of his, then yah, I would guess Girard. It looks like the label may be slanted a bit much for that though.

On edit, does Rudy run a pro shop. Are you positive that is Rudy, cause look back at items sold, & there are all different brands, spans, & lh,Rh?

Triggerman, so that is Rudy's e-bay name? He has sold a lot of other equipment if it is, that could not possibly been his. At least it doesn't appear it was his, or am I wrong?

Yeah, I just purchased a pearl cherry from him and it is Rudy.  He was very easy to deal with and shipped the product the next day.

That "block" on the image is what happens when an image becomes corrupted, specifically jpeg images....  It makes me laugh that you think that corruption is on purpose...  For those of you that were around in the BBS days and downloaded "images" you would know that this isn't on purpose and he isn't trying to "cover up" something on the ball.

Hey, I'm sure I was around then, but knew nothing about downloading images. Honest mistake on my part & I had no idea that was Rudy. It looked like a piece of peg board to me, if you know what that is!

Wow, I bought my ball from a PBA bowler! Haha, I just bought a Ebonite The One from him on the 31st. Haven't recieved it yet, but it's drilled Lefty and the description said less than 5 games. Got it for 51 bucks plus 22 for shipping.
