Dael, or No Deal.  I won this auction the other day, not even intending on winning it, what, with a $15 bid as my max.  Anyways, let me know what you guys think about this deal, and also this ball.  Thinking about plugging and re-drilling it, but can't really figure out a layout for it.  Also, anybody have any further info on this piece, please let me know.

I don't think it was a particle pearl, but a solid particle. If I recall it was a small hooking control ball for medium to medium-heavy oil to almost hevay oil;but people were divided on that aspect of it also. People either loved it or hated it. No in-between.

It seems drilled to force some control on it, but since it was a control ball, a skid/flip drill would have seemed more appropriate to me (like pin over ring finger, CG stacked below). Just a thought.

$15 is unbelievable for a Carbide LRG. I used to have one of those. Shot some huge numbers with the ball. That is an absolute steal. You will like the ball. You don't see older Lane#1 equipment like that going off that cheap.

Yeah, that's a steal. Must not be any guys throwing 16lb balls anymore!

I drilled mine with the pin in the ring finger (just over 4" from PAP), and I am very happy with the reaction. It's not a hook monster, but there are no suprises with this ball. It is very controllable. Hit and carry are typical of other Lane #1 balls.
