i bought this ball from rudy, it was used on tour, by who, i dont know.
my Specs:
5" span, medium revs, matching speed, usual axis tilt is aprrox 30-45°, currently in the process of cloning Parker Bohn III's approach.
anyway, i just got it in today, except for a nasty gash 4" above the fingers, about 3" right of my track, its in flawless shape, and used it with a little bit of tape, as the drilling already had my span.
i started out with no idea how this ball was going to react, so i lined up all 1st game with my typical league shot 12 to 7, it was very inconsistent, and usually came in too high, ended up with a 179 first game.
2nd game, i moved a little further left, shooting more inside, around 15 to 10.
it hit the pocket on occassion but left mostly 1 pin spares and 3 splits, ended the set with 4 in a row, 188 that game.
then the 3rd and final game, i went WAY out to the left for a person of my style, shooting 17 to 5, and boy oh boy, was that the trick, this thing skates till about 2/3rds down the lane, rolls up and takes a b-line to the pocket, it looks like a heat seeking missle off the break.
I ended up shooting 246 - X X X X X X 8/ 9/ X 9/X
wicked ball, not meant for down and in bowling, granted, this wasnt on a fresh shot, it was open bowling, but i think it was just a taste of what this ball is made out of, i will never use this ball on wood lanes, i think it would be roll-out-fest. i plan on getting this regripped and reslugged over the summer to use as my benchmark ball next season on synthetics.
I now have a 3 ball lane #1 arsenal, Enriched Uranium, Uranium Pearl, H2O.
