Well, I am not going to draw this out too far since my first impression lasted only 6 frames.
I laid the ball out with the pin over the bridge, the cg kicked right 1" and the mass bias is on my VAL. The ball did not require a weighthole.
Well I started practice with my Blue Death (pin under the bridge, cg out, big hole in the thumb positive quadrant). I lined up in the pocket with this ball by standing 25, targeting at the 15 board with my breakpoint around 10. This shot held pocket well and carried every time I put the ball there.
I picked up the Curve and played the same line. The shot looked very promising for 45 feet. Then the ball played NASCAR and LEFT TURN!!!! grabbing the 2 pin on the way by. Moving 5 left got me onto the headpin and another 5 left with the feet got me to the pocket. The ball drove incredibly hard and left me a 4-9. I move my target in to the 4th arrow with the same breakpoint and found the sweet spot....in the pocket and all 10 in the pit.
My first 6 frames with the ball in competition yielded 1 strike and 5 splits so I am going to need to work with this ball some more but I see an awful lot of promise with the reaction.
For those of you interested in picking one of these up I am offering them for sale in 2 ways.....
1. Lane #1 Curve ball with your choice of specs and an embroidered Curve towel for $150 shipped
2. Lane #1 Curve ball with your choice of specs, drilling with inserts, thumb slug and the towel for $185 shipped.
These prices are valid for pre-orders only and will increase my approximately $20 once the special pre-order price is over.
Some pics of my ball and information...you will have to excuse the quality of the pictures...I didn''t have my camera with me so I used my phone.

Ouch. I can't use strong back ending stuff now the way it is. I have to drill them weak. I like the Blue Death I have and couldn't see I'd need much more unless it has more surface on an even pattern with more volume and I am not a fluffer but a tweener. Proprietors in my neck of the woods don't put out these types of patterns. Good luck though.

Now scotts I do need to say that the finish on this ball is 2000 + their 2 part polishing system like the Blue Death. I am considering going to 4000 and seeing if it helps things some.
The ball is an absolute monster though....Lane 1 has never had a ball this strong off the spot...EVER.....

There is a video of it over on BBE.

The ball does get a lot of length....in fact the first 45 feet of the lane seem as though they do not exist. The backend is SO BIg that I have a tough time holding it back on our house.
Granted we have wood lanes with a house shot that I could probably throw a Storm Natural on for the most part.
If I hold the ball inside the oil like it just flat out jumps left when it encounters friction.
I am going to drill another one later when I can afford one with the pin/ cg and mass bias are in better alignment.
Seriously though....the ball is going to be a great ball if you have a longer pattern or a lot of oil.
I can't wait to throw it some more.
