For the mezz, and ANYONE Else with MISINFORMATION

First of all, I spoke with Lane 1 today, and one thing is for CERTAIN, that ANYTHING said about Lane 1's status, who doe NOT belong to Lane 1, is PURE SPECULATION.  Another FACT is that Lane 1 IS NOT, nor EVER WILL be "done"; there will always be a contract with someone, and Buzzsaws will always be made, and they will ALWAYS be quality, surpassed be none.

Secondly, I wish that these people who bash Richie and the Lane 1 staff and spread rumors, would have the guts to call 1-800-526-3661 to get the FACTS as well as say to Richie personally, that they think he is "small time".  As a business man he is definitely not small time.  Mezz just thinks he can gloat that Lane 1 leaves Brunswick only to have their new partner be sold to another company, thus he assumes that Lane 1 will sink; NEVER HAPPEN.

I cannot reveal anything I was told, BUT one thing was sure, anything not printed by Richie or Chuck is just a bald faced rumor with not factual basis regardless of the mezz's source.  I am positive that Triggerman's source and mine trumps mezz's, so if you are going to play Spades, remember to come big or don't come at all!!!!

Yeah, just because Columbia was sold doesn't mean Lane #1 is gone. I knew that from the beginning. All they have to do is sign a contract with another company to pour for them. I for one would love to see a Diamond in an Ebonite cover, but I know most people here would just claim the cover would die.

for a moment .. I felt sorry for ppl like themezz ... they saw something that they never dreamed of .. and they just can't let it go ..

everytime they say something .. Richie proves them wrong over & over .. Richie lets his work does the talk .. where ppl like mezz .. they have to mumble and bash to get noticed .. and at the end .. they get slapped on the face as usual  lol

they swore lane#1 will fail with C300 coverstock ... and now the G-Force is out and everyone is just laughing at them

ppl like mezz .. their sources is simply hatred ... they make up stories and they believe in them lol

they would love to see lane#1 go down and disappear ... and saddly this day will not exist in their life span

I heard the same things from some who spoke directly to Richie a few hours ago. From what I hear, they have another company in mind if Ebonite decides not to keep Lane #1, thats as far as I will take it

Mezzz,

You DID say that they were "done", what do you think that implies, and you also start rumors WITHOUT contacting Richie or Lane 1.  Mezz, you have always attcked Lane 1 and its staffers (i.e. Rudy), and you have always posted against Lane 1, BUT I do not know why you had to resort to crude attacks (i.e. noses and butts).  All I said about you was that you DID NOT know what you were talking about when it came to Lane 1.  The only thing you knew for sure was that Ebonite bought Columbia, everything after that was pure conjecture.  It would have been better if you had said that you wonder where that leaves Lane 1, instead of that they are done.  I do not kiss or smell for that matter, anyone's butt; I merely support the company whose equipment I use and believe in.

How far into the future can you see?  Saying something will be around forever is more silly than anything themezz said.  Years ago, we all thought Service Merchandise and Woolworth's would be around forever.  I'm sure there are better examples.

I don't care one way or the other whether Lane1 is in trouble or not, but if they were, do you honestly think they would tell the common public?  No one thought Columbia was small time either.  Lane1 is much smaller than Columbia.

Again, since your statement isn't written by Ritchie, it's just a rumor also, so why are you wasting our time?  And PLEASE stop claiming to call Lane1, getting the "inside scoop" then being unable to provide details.  How are you being more mature than themezz?  Ritchie won't come out and make any kind of statement until some kind of deal is finalized.  Because he's smart, he won't jeopardize any leverage he might have by making statements on the web.

I have a Lane #1, a Super Carbide Bomb.  I kinda like it.  It fits into my game somewhat OK.  I also have Ebonite, Storm, Brunswick, Track, DynoThane and MoRich.

This devotion to Lane #1.  This praising and extolling of its virtues.....

I mean, don't get me wrong....I believe in supporting a product, the people that make the product, the seemingly conscientious people who run Lane #1, but these actions, just barely short of hitting your knees and gratifying a Lane #1 ball are mildly.........disturbing.

Just an observation.

I probably got hte same info that saw got, so I will say why Im not saying what I know.

The pro-shop guy at the bowling alley I work at know Richie personally. He called Richie tonight and got the info I know. I do not want to say anything tha Richie doesnt want the public to know so hte trust between the shop owner and richie does not go south. All I will say is there is a back-up plan set if ebonite does not pull through.
