Fun with old Buzzsaws
« on: February 07, 2008, 05:37:50 AM »
I have been doing well lately with my old Purple Buzzsaw in one house, and the Pro Purple in another house.

Anyone else using their old stuff regularly?

Using my Cherry Pearl C/2 all the time. Was using my Super Carbide until I sold because of dropping to 14lbs.

I did throw a recently acquired Teal last week and was delighted at the smooth reaction. It is very tame. The Bullet was a good friend of mine last year, but I think I like the mellow covers on the old balls a little better. I will definitely throw it in the bag come tourney time.

Shot 878 in a doubles X or 9 tournament with the Silver Diamond.  Left the good ol' 4-9 in the 6th of the first game.

I love it when everybody who doesn't bowl the X or 9 says they'd shoot 900 every time.  I don't care what they say, it's harder than it sounds.

Yes,I use a Pro Purple Saw to practice with on Mondays before the lanes
are re-oiled from Sundays open play. It is the one ball I have that will
still allow me a great reaction and carry on this broken down condition.

You poor soul!!! I really feel for yeah i really do epsecially that the center won't fix it or do anything about it. I actually have some splice marks on my cherry and just that pisses me off. If a screw did that to mine i would literally tear the place apart in rage. My cherry means everything to me and hate to see it get all dinged up. It's my money ball.

Cherry Pearl C/2 is always in my bag!  This ball is sure a winner! XP comes close and we shall see how it holds out in the long run.  My Cherry Pearl C/2 has a ton of games on it and it still performs like new.  I clean it like all my bowling balls after each use.

Would the bowling alley owners get pissed if someone KEYED their automobile, in the parking lot?
