G-Force drilling help, thanks!
« on: October 27, 2008, 11:57:52 AM »
I got me a NIB 15lb G-Force 2 1/4 top 2-3" pin. My Last one was drilled (Rico) i loved it but i gave it to another recruit (new bowler) lol, i saw him Sunday night and he said "Man! I love that pink ball... even if i miss the pocket that thing carries!" Got him!! ok, back to me.....

I want to drill this ball so i can use on THS synthetic lanes, should i
A)______*pin
_____o o
______0 cg    x hole
________mb

change surface to like 2000 or 4000 abralon polish or no polish

B)__*pin
_____o o
______cg
______0
________mb

this is supposed to be a weaker pin position and leave surface oob

c) My 14lb Evolution is drill label and it Hits like crazy! So, Maybe i should just drill it label?

I like for my bowling balls to go long and angular, not a big fan of midlane roll, i love lots of backend (on my bowling balls )!!!
I thank all of you who are more knowledgeable than me and you guys have helped me out tremendously! Thanks!

if you want to use it on a THS i'd go w/ a cg out layout
pin slightly above the bridge

or

you could drill the pin out ( ring finger ) and kick the cg out about an inch

this ball ive heard has a break in period and like wine gets better w/ age

you can always change your surface when needed
