G-Force Evolution MIA.........
« on: May 29, 2008, 07:34:37 PM »
I just noticed tonight that the G-Force Evolution is not listed anywhere on the Lane #1 website.  I looked under current line, and then under retired balls, but it is nowhere to be found.  All the other balls in the G-Force line are listed, but the Evolution has vanished.  Anyone else notice this, and why would it be gone all of a sudden?

The G Force, Evolution and Nebula will all be gone as soon as the stock is depleted. Recall that these were the last of teh balls produced by Columbia. Whether or not Richie can (or will) get the same resin formulation and remake them remains to be seen...or maybe he doesn't even want to remake them. Maybe there's something better on the horizon????

Yes the Evolution is a great ball...yes it's the PERFECT househsot ball for most bowlers.

A polished Nebula will be close but not quite the same. The ball will be earlier and smoother...not necessarily a bad thing.

If you REALLY like the Evolution contact Lane 1 and let them know. They brought the Teal back because people continued to tell them they needed a ball as such. Richie listened and voila! We have the Teal THS :-)
