mini review for those interested
Chuck and the guys at lane #1 were kind enough to send me a test ball, the G Force Evolution, 2-3 pin 3.5 top and 15# 3 oz out of box (and one of the sweetest looking balls in some time)
Laid this out pin under ring a whopping 1" placed the cg in the 3.375 leverage position from pap, took ring extra deep and thumb extra deep, ended up with 1 oz of side, left it at this to try out figured i could add a weight hole if needed
left the ball in oob condition, went to an old brunswick house with 8 year old synthetics, monday morning so i knew there was no head oil and probably some carry down. as a starting line i stood feet on 25 targeted 15 with my hybrid dirty bomb, shot came in brooklyn so the lanes were as i thought they would be. second shot i threw my 4 x 0 drilled teal saw, moved a little right threw and same result.
Took out the evolution. I punched it the way i did to look for a replacement for my cherry c/2. standing on 30 swinging over 18 the ball came in a tad high, moved left foot to 43, open stance up a tad targeted over 22 to the 12 board at 45 feet, ball made a strong defined move to hole, carried well, the more i threw this line the better the ball became. time to try different hand postions, so i moved right to ten board, came straight up the back, ball went brooklyn, move 5 boards rigth with feet, 2 with target and bam back in the hole. nice rolling peice, think i may punch a hole in the thumb quad to take some thumb out of it and add to the fingers looking for a more pronounced look. I think it will compliment my cherry, not sure yet aobut replacement. and it is 5-8 boards stronger then my hybrid dirty bomb
thanks lane #1 for letting me give this ball a whirl, looks like it may be a great rolling great hitting peice. will post pics tonight, along with my results tomorrow night of league on a fresh shot

threw this ball last night on a fresh house shot, 38 ft synthetic overlays I did not get out of the box well last night but shot 647 with a 175 first game, (too many splits) this ball is huge from the outside, on this shot i was standing with left foot on 37 slightly opened stance and targeting 15 board at the arrows, pushing to about 7 at the break, this ball with the drilling i have is rolly/snap lol hard to imagine that but it just rolls to the break and makes a very smooth yet pronounced move, intially I thought the hit lacked when compared to some of my other saws, but last night, that misconception went out the window, I threw 8 in a row last game (read, burnt track, little carry down) when the guys with the one or infinite one were squirty in the carrydown, i never moved, ball just kept going. As i stated i was looking for a replacement for my pink cherry c/2, this is pretty dang close. being a pearl i expected to get some over under or some squirt in the oil, but i didnt, the cover reminds me a little of activator (the original formula) but cleaner in the mids. and dang if this isnt one of the prettier balls lane #1 has done

round three
wood house, 36 feet of oil, decent volume clean clean backs. this ball was even more impressive on the wood, super clean and a hard hard change in directton of the dry, i stayed in the same spot all night and crushed the pocket, left foot on 38 or so, across 17 to about the 7 at 48 feet and this ball smashed the pins, got tight a couple of shots left 9 pins but for the most part loved what i saw. did not get out of the gate great again, pounded the pocket but got 2-3 nasty splits and wiffed a ten pin on my way to a 159, come back next game shoot 247, then the third shot 248, 654 with a 159 game, too bad i lost all my brackets with that one game. this ball continues to impress me. my pink cherry c/2 has been my faorite skid snap ball, this evo puts it to shame, i can stay in play a lot longer, it s tad longer on the patterns and is equally impressive in the hole. Might have to get the Nebula jsut for grins
