G force Nebula
« on: May 07, 2008, 01:13:09 AM »
ok so I have one of these coming in 2-3 pin is what i asked for.  I have not had a particle pearl from lane #1 since the Golden Nugget so I am quite unsure as to what to expect, I am considering a few different layouts and am looking for some suggestions on it

my current line up consists of
Buzzbomb drilled 4.5 x 4 (pin slightly up and right of ring)
XP pin in ring, cg out slightly resulting in a 4.75 x 4 drilling
Tsunami drilled semi pin axis
plastic
and my pink cherry c/2 drilled 4.5 x 4.5 (1" pin, pin 1" under ring)

the pink is the biggest backend ball closely followed by the xp, the BB handles more oil but doesnt recover from deep

I want the Nebula to maybe fit at or slightly below the the xp (as I ahve a long pin hrg coming for the drier stuff)

drilling suggestions?  me pap over 5 up 0 425ish revs, can vary tilt as needed

considering a "rico" but not sure if I want to do that, have not had good sucess in the past with that drilling on big b stuff.  I may do a "label drill" but not sure there either, as stacks and cg outs have been better for me

fire away tell me experiences with the ball and what has worked for you

well I have a long pin hrg coming in as well as the 2-3 pin nebula, not really sure where i want to put them in the bag (I might jsut sell the two of them)

but I am leaning towards a 4 x 4 with the hrg and Rico on the nebula, any thoughts from anyone on this?

My PAP is 5 over, 1/2 up (not too far from yours).
I went pin under ring, cg out, weight hole 2" down on VAL.
Worked very nicely!

I drilled up a Nebula today for myself.  It had been sitting on the shelf in the shop since the day it was released...  Not sure if it finally got to me or if I realized that the shelf space couldbe better utilized .  Anyway, drilled it with a 5 X 3.5 layout with a 2.5" buffer (the 3.5 was the marked MB...not the cg).  Small weight hole on my PAP to bring it back to legal.  I took it out and threw a few frames on the house shot.  I'm waiting until I have a few games on it to report anything where I can compare it against some other equipment...  and cast judgement.
