G Force Nebula Pearl
« on: September 26, 2008, 03:59:04 PM »
I just bought one for $89.95 shipped.
I was looking for a Pearl Particle.
At that price, I would have bought any ball...
Any input?

Duke,

This ball was, for the most part, overlooked. The ball was not flashy, and there were other balls released around the same time that simply gathered more attention.

My Nebula was laid out pin under ring (4.5 from PAP), CG out, weight hole 2" down on VAL. Mine cleared the heads easily and picked up nicely in the mids. The move off the break was strong, but very controlled. Carry down did not bother the ball much (as expected with a particle coverstock).

At $89.95, you have made a sound purchase and should be pleased with the ball.

Duke,

Our G-Force Nebula has a very smooth midlane roll with a strong back end. At $89.95 you stole the ball..!! Once you drill it up and use it, please let me know how you like the ball!

Thanks,
Jen
Lane #1

Not much of a ball review...But here it is.
I may be picking up another Lane 1.

Rolled the G-FORCE NEBULA Tuesday night.

Have no idea what my pap is any more.

Pin is about 1-1/2" above grip center.
MB is about 2" left of thumb hole center.
No weight hole.

My span has dropped about 3/4" since I went to "bareback" finger holes....and back up to 15# from 13#.
Left a couple of 3-7s...10th frame of first game, 1st frame of last game.

I had a good night shot: 202-223-278 = 703

Lane Surface: Pro Anvilane
Cover: 2000 Abralon
Polish: Beans S.S.

Lefthander.
Targeted 1 board  outside the 10 board, at the down lane marker.
Right foot on 13 to start, slide on 16-17....
Ball is forgiving...I flushed 11 the last game...Ball was money.

I'm averaging 181 this year.
I shot 160+ for 3, over average.
Great ball.............Hits like a truck.
Read the mids well, and had nice recovery on a THS.
