Title: G Force solid vs SuperNova
Post by: Storm269 on January 03, 2008, 01:22:10 AM
Is it true that the reason why the SuperNova goes longer then the Solid is because it is a particle ball ? Your comments please....thanks !

I think it's because of the out of box finish. =:^D

the particle in the Supernova generally would make a ball start up sooner, but, alough I don't have the specs on each at hand that plays a big part, and as TGOD said, the surface on the G force solid is much lower than the SUpernova's OOB surface.

I thought my Hammers hit hard, until I whipped a LM/L ball into the pocket. WOW!

That would be the only reason a partical ball would go longer than a solid, all things equal that is.   Now that is not to say that the cover base on the partical ball is less sensitive to dry, so it APPEARS to creep down the lane before making a transition.  But IMO No there is no way that particals make it go longer, they add friction in theory, so they should not promote a ball going down the lane.
