Lane #1's website says this:
With it's high proformance Hybrid ISO pearl coverstock.
And this:
Cover Stock: Hybrid ISOTM Solid Reactive
So.......what the heck is the cover?
-
Since the Dynamo-X2 has the same coverstock description, they must be the same Solid/"soaker" coverstock. No?
EDIT: That's odd. On the little blurb on the right side of each page showing "Latest Ball" which switches back and forth between the Gemstone and the Dynamo-X2, it describes the Gemstone's cover as Hybrid ISO Pearl, yet the web page says Hybrid ISO Solid.
So who has the the right story??

Thanks....I posted in the 900G forum, perhaps we'll get an answer there.

The cover on the Gemstone and the Dynamo X-2 are the same exact coverstock. The ISO Hybrid is a solid/pearl hybrid cover so in a way both descriptions are correct :-) But they are both then technically wrong too :-(

LOL!!!

Thanks Doug....I think!! Since the cover is a hybrid (not exclusively solid or pearl as Lane #1 so confusingly lists them on their website) do you know what the solid/pearl mix percentage is by any chance?

Sorry my friend but I do not.....I get very little of the technical data anymore. If I can find out though I will let you know.

Lane #1's website now lists the GemStone as being a Hybrid ISO pearl reactive. It also lists the Dynamo X2 as being a Hybrid ISO solid reactive.
-
Per a call to Lane #1 today to answer this very question, it is a PEARL coverstock...

I think the ISO is the base coverstock and that is shared between the Gemstone and the X-2.
I got my X-2 onto the bench today and there is no way this coverstock is a pearl.
The Gemstone is DEFINITELY a pearl....
