Hi
what's the OOB condition of the cover of these balls?
Thanks in advance for every help.

I seriously doubt it. Abralon wasn't even considered for a bowling ball when either ball was produced. These were back in the Brunswick cover days, so they were probably either 220 or 400 grit (US) sand paper before the polish. I don't know if the used Ruff Buff/High Gloss or something else.

I know when I got my GN it came pretty shiney. So Id fathom it was brunswicks classic 400+High gloss polish.
You can replicate it by using 1000 abralon(equal to roughly 500 us grit) and using the polish of your choice.

That's what I was told by Chuck @ Lane#1 when I asked him some time ago.

1000 Abralon and Secret Sauce will duplicate the Silver OOB surface..
Try a 500 Abralon and Secret Sauce to replicate the GN.. The GN is PK17 with particle so it was shiny with some surface as well.
