First Impressions on the G Force Nebula
« on: May 25, 2007, 01:40:42 PM »
Drilled up my Nebula today. Layed it out Stacked pin above ring. Lanes were real freshly oiled. They had a king of the hill tournament that night and the put out a modified house shot. Heavy oil with out of bounds around 1-10 lot of oil. First few balls were real right of the pocket missing head pin and leaving a few 2-10 and 2-8-10 combos. but after i burned up a little hook spot and slowed the ball speed down it worked like magic. Ball never jumped real smooth arcing for a nice even reaction. Had a few problems after lanes broke down a little over under but when i found my line i shot great i shot 258 only left 2 ringing 10's. Didnt get to drill up my evoluition today but i will drill it tuesday. I really im liking lane 1 and the g force line

Just a preview of future reviews before I post one under the reviews section.  Laid out the ball with the pin below the ring, and slightly right; cg is kicked in, almost in the center of palm, and the MB is below and right of thumb.

Not surfe of the oil patter/amount sinvce I have not bowled in about 14 months, and the center just got a new machine that can lay out house and tourney shots.  I will just post the series (647), but will say that I had one open in the first game, with 11 strikes.  The series should have been higher, but lack of conditioning during the lay-off was a factor.  Anyine that says that bowling does not require physical conditioning is wrong, as I discovered muscles that I forgot I had.

Ball has strong arching motion and smooth, but with my speed if swung to far right recovers late.  Carries light hits extremely well, and keeps pins low for maximum carry.  I am going to talk to Chuck about getting a second one drilled with the pin even with ring and cg kicked out.  Great ball, and a must have in ones bag.  Plan on using it for most of the summer to see its potential.  I am seriously excited about this, and other bowlers came over just to ask what I was throwing.  Since I am the ONLY saw user in the house it looks like a demo day each night.
