DB and Bullet Drilling Recommendations
« on: April 17, 2007, 03:41:33 PM »
Well, after a 3 year hiatus from Lane 1 (2 year break and when I came back Pro Shop Guy changed and the new one did not carry them so I went with Ebonite) I decided last week to purchase a Dirty Bomb and the Bullet off of ebay and would like suggestions on how to have them drilled up.

Ball Specs for Dirty Bomb :
16 lbs 1 oz
Top 3.3 oz
Pin 1-2

Ball Specs for Bullet:
16 lbs 2 oz
Top 3.0 oz
Pin 2-3

Bowler Profile: lower to med revs around 16 mph (speed according to the not so reliable score machine and with a 15 lbs ball)

Most people seem to suggest a stacked drilling on the short pin for the dirty bomb, but I have not seen really anything on the Bullet.

--------------------
------------------------------------
Dirty Bomb 16lbs
Bullet 16 lbs
Angular One 15 lbs
Big One 15 lbs

"Most people seem to suggest a stacked drilling on the short pin for the dirty bomb"

when I ordered mine, I made sure it was short pin.  as I drilled mine stacked .. works great for the DB on meduim-heavy and sometimes heavy oil conditions

as for the Bullet .. I never used it so I am not really sure what will be the best drilling for it
