Good Specs for Buzzbomb?

I was looking at that thread about top weight on the Buzzbomb, and was mildly confused and was wondering about my ball. I did not know anything about Lane ! high top weights being better or I would have got one myself.

My specs on mine is pin 3in. Top Weight 3oz.

I talked to ritchie on layouts, but forgot to mention my specs on the ball, he suggested for heavy oil and deeper angles he told me to lay it out 4 5/8x3 3/8 pin alligned with fingers then use a balance hole to bring it back to 5/8oz side, 3/8oz. finger, and 7/8oz. top.

That sounds like a layout that you will need more than 3oz. of top weight to achieve, more like 4 or 4.25oz. top weight. what do you think on this , because if the ball specs is not suited for the layout i want. I am going to have to exchange it to get a ball with more top weight.

I would look to get a ball closer to 4 oz. top. =:^D

Well since i need a ball with different specs to layout the way I want to get the most out of it.

So lets just say , that maybe I want to keep this ball and get another one with the more aggresive layout that i intended on using.

What layoue do you think I could use with my specs that would be a milder layout that would compliment the stronger Buzzbomb? I was thinking a label 5x6 or something in that area but advice would be great.

Placing the pin just over the middle finger and kicking the CG out to 5/8 side should do the trick. Plus, I'd polish this one up to a good shine. =:^D

With my PAP that would put me in the 7 inch pin to PAP range, that might be a little excessive, I was thingknin having the pin slightly to the left of ring with Cg maybe in center of grip, I don't know how much side that would come out to be, but that layout has worked good for my Hawgzilla. Or any variation of label. T GOD what do you think

Place the pin over the bridge and slighty towards the middle finger then. It will be around 6" to your PAP. Kick the CG out for roughly 5/8 oz. side with around 1/2 finger. And don't forget to polish it up. =:^D
