Clump's new lane#1 ad
« on: October 31, 2003, 03:26:46 PM »

  Dave(sawmill,Clump)

Interesting self portrait, I was hoping for a real photo or something along those lines. I like the look of the new ball. Would go good with the silver diamond.

So, where is the ad???? I just checked Lane 1's site and didn't see it. I clicked on balls, new balls, pictures, etc. Am I missing something or this picture thing all a joke?

Seadrive, I tried that and all I get is a picture on the left side of 3 balls,  the BCB, the Cranberry, and the XXL. Then almost all of the rest of screen is blank and black except on the far right hand side where there is a row of old Lane 1 ads.

I cleared "cleaned up" my files, "cleared desk", and all the things the computer said to do, and I still get a blank picture.

Can get the picture using what King said to use, but cannot get it from Lane 1's site by clicking on "what's Next" or "balls" or anything else. Well anyhow, I've now seen the picture, but it tic's me off that I can't pick it up thru Lane 1's normal site.

If you're using Internet Explorer, click on Tools, click on Internet Options, In the section entitled, "Temporary Internet Files, Click on Delete Files, then click on OK in the pop-up window. Then hit "OK".

In Netscape, Click on Edit, then on Preferences. Then click on whatever is necessary to Clear your Cache memory. (I have an older version, so what I click on may not be exactly the same as what you need to click on.)

This is weird. I cleaned (cleared) up my files. I can now get it on Cable but still can't get it on AOL.

Typhoon,

I love my silver diamond, but for hook, this ball will take the gold.  What a concept, two precious gems in one, Diamond core in a Golden Nugget.  I wonder what othere treasures will be found in that mine?

Aww Man! You all actually like the way the Gold Nugget looks? I mean, it looks cool and all, but...well, I don't know. Heck, I can't be too particular because I don't own any Lane 1 stuff in the first place. But jeez!

I know, you shouldn't judge a book (or ball...) by it's coverstock. I'll probably think differently if I see it in person. Mr. Clump, which do you like better from a cosmetic standpoint: Gold Nugget or the Black Cherry Bomb? Man, I really need to quit, because all I'm doing is being picky.

Well, does anyone else feel this way from what they've seen so far? Mabey because it's gold, pearlized, and I'm trying to make it look like the Gold Rhino. I don't know. You know what though, if this ball's new coverstock is as versitle and predictable as Mr. Clump says it is, I just might deal with it anyway.

When you've moved up, moved back, adjusted left and right, cupped, flattened out, have thrown everyting in your arsenal, and the pins still don't cooperate, just say, "Aw to HELL with it!", and throw the ball!
