I'm almost certain it's something with a C/2 core.
Then again I could be way off!
OR, perhaps a completely new core not based on the diamond? Now that would be shocking!

I think you've already said too much, so just spill it! LOL J/K!
I hate it when people tease with info they posess but can't say anything until the "official" release.
It's just like when we were kids and saying "I know something you don't know".
That being said, it IS fun to speculate...

because of all the negativity of late in this forum. There needs to be a little lightening up and if I can do that by adding a little suspense to the upcoming releases then why not

Whatever the cover technology is, I'll be in line for it. I usually wait a few months before deciding on a new release, but I'm going for this one sight unseen.
The twisted diamond core in the Dynamo is the most exciting advance I've experienced in the Lane#1 line-up. I hope there ends up being 3-4 different Dynamos, much like they did with the BuzzBombs and Uraniums.

Trig - I am not bashing. I just think it is funny that there is a need to amp up a "New Ball" this early in the offseason.
X2 hybrid probably says everything in the title. It must be a hybrid coverstock with the Dynamo core. My guess would be two parts solid to one part pearl (but could be the other way too). Hopefully non particle.
The New Ball sounds like it will be their first non Diamond Lane 1 ball.

Obviously a non diamond core. And no I wouldn't be surprised. Now they can finally stop trying to con people into believing the diamond core is stronger than all of the new assymetric stuff out now a days.
-
Trigg has to hype it up because he's a Lane #1 retailer!

Don't worry Trigg, if I run across some extra money I'll be sure to buy one of these new balls from you just to make up for the little bit if crap I'm handing out today.

Steven, I have a Dynamo also but haven't drilled it yet. Ditto for an XP.
I have been working on a new grip involving both span and pitches and as soon as I feel comfortable with it, I will drill the Dynamo and XP. I really anxious to get the Dynamo drilled and try it which I hope will be within the next 1-2 weeks. Anxious to see how the Hybrid does also.

Triggerman.,..yes the new ball is a total shock and one I was not suspecting...one I had been asking for but never expected to see. I am soooo stoked!!!!!
Beans...you are also correct my friend....unfortunately I am one of teh guys who dug into your Lane 1 sales and for that I apologize. Back when teh Cherry Bomb was king I remember selling them on ebay and clearing $35 per ball after fees and shipping. What happened to those days? Shipping went up, fees went up and there are way more people trying to get their slice of the pie. Ever wonder why I am not on here fighting for all of the new ball sales? It just isn't worth it anymore. Seeing people sell the balls shipped for the same price I see listed on the pro shop price sheet sucks. I, like you, will bend over backwards for my repeat customers who respect me, my business and the knowledge I can give them. I feel that has to be worth something but then what do I know? I am just a $35,000 annual pro shop. 3 years ago I did $35,000 ONLINE alone, plus another $25,000 in local sales. I am still one of the little guys and Lane 1 is one of the few manufacturers who has taken care of us over the years....now there are other companies who are following suit with special "brick & mortar pro shop only" offers.
I also agree with Beans on the count that there are way too many people who say "comp me a ball and I'll see how many I can sell for you." I have gotten comped one of each new Lane 1 releases for like the last 4 years.. When Iheard about the Chainsaw Massacre coming out I told Chuck not to bother sending me one since it was too late in the season to gain any sales and the summer leagues won't support that type of ball reaction.
Lots of new and exciting stuff on the horizon....I can't wait...

I don't care what someone else sells balls for. I don't care what you pay for balls. I don't care about who's core is stronger and if there is ever going to be a core based out of anything but a diamond. If this is the only thing in this industry that gets you wired JLS then you have major problems..
I have to compete with 3 pro shops in my area that drill balls for $20 more than cost and that includes grips and slugs. If I'm going to survive in this industry I am going to sell online and keep building my customer base from out of state bowlers.
You want to get balls at deep discounts???? Sell large quantities. 80% of people complained when Lane#1 had the highest prices and never gave discounts no matter what. They changed that and allowed everyone to sell at what they wanted. Now the same people are bitzing about people selling balls for $5 profit. I was the first Lane#1 online retailer in the USA regardless of what you hear from anyone. I had that all locked up. Then other people jumped on my bandwagon and started digging into my sales. Then some more, and some more and more, etc. Now everyone is competeing for a $10-$20 profit. Why do you not complain about Buddies Pro Shop and Bowlingball.com selling their Storm,Brunswick and Roto Grip for cheaper than I can buy them for??????
I do not hear you ever complain about that. EVER!!
There are many problems with this industry that need to be fixed. You happen to be one of the problems. You're the guy that says," If you send me a ball for free....I can promote your products and get them sold up here in my area." There are far too many pro shop operators like that too.
I can't rely on the bowling business to support myself and my family any longer as I refuse to fight over a $5-$10 profit sale. Thank god I have bread routes as my full time income.
I make more money plugging balls that are drilled by hacks then I do selling new balls. What is wrong with that picture??????

Regardless of which way Steven may be, why does it bother you so much that you make a post about it? I thought the purpose of this forum was about bowling, balls, helping people asking for help and etc. and not a forum for bashing people and/or a product you don't like for personal reasons.
It is really sad that a person can't come to the BR site anymore without seeing someone bashing someone or bashing a company in place of reading positive informative posts and trying to learn something as this site was intended to be when it first started.
I simply don't see what pleasure people get out of bashing people and companies. Maybe it is inmaturity of the people that constantly bash, I don't know.

It bothers me because Steven, in his profile and other forums, presents himself as some impartial and objective helper. I don't like astroturfing when it's Microsoft and I don't like it when it's Lane #1 either, or ANY brand. If you're a shameless brand devotee fine, but don't portray yourself as something you're not.
When you're excited about a bowling ball which you know NOTHING about...that makes you a shill. And in my opinion ridiculous, but that's neither here nor there.

Brick: Thanks for the attempt at trying to bring some sanity to posting. Unfortunately my friend, the intended audience for the message has deaf ears.
Now, for Holland:

Whatever. Try as you might to frame me with the 'Lane #1 fanboy' label, I take no offense to it. I have a solid Hammer/Columbia mix to compare my Lane#1 equipment against. I've done my homework, and I feel comfortable being more in the fanboy camp. Someday, when you're not constrained by a "five dollar foot long" lifestyle, you too might be able to compare and make informed judgements.
The Dynamo is one of the finest balls Lane#1 has ever developed. So it's not a reach to plan on picking up the Dynamo X2 without waiting a bit.

Holland, when you say "you", I take that to mean me. I have said nothing to give you reason to accuse me of .... "If you're a shameless brand devotee fine, but don't portray yourself as something you're not." .... If you will look at my profile, I have 6 drilled balls in my arsenal that I am currently using with only 2 of them being Lane 1, so back off on your accusations against me here.
quote:
When you're excited about a bowling ball which you know NOTHING about...that makes you a shill. And in my opinion ridiculous, but that's neither here nor there.
Again, you are falsely accusing me again. People make same and similar statementss in the other ball forums all of the time and I don't see you bashing them. And in reality there is nothing wrong with anyone being excited about a ball coming out from any company. Happens all the time with a lot of bowlers with all companies.
It is time for people to quit stalking people that want to post positive things in the Lane 1 forum. If they don't like good things being said about Lane 1 and hate Lane 1 that bad, then don't come here. Simple as that. Or better yet, put the people you don't like on your ignore list and then you won't have to read what they say and get upset everytime they post something....and BTW, I am not a shill......
Let me end here by saying if you have an issue with Steven, then that is between you and him and doesn't concern others on this site, so the proper thing to do is message him and discuss it with him personaly since it is a personel thing, rather than go public with it. What's the point of going public when you have a grudge with someone? It doesn't concern the public.

It was my decision to sell the product and when they bought it it was theirs to do what they please. I still get residuals so I still have a vested interest in the success of the product. Did I make the correct decision in selling the product??? I don't know. I was happy with the offer and accepted it so it is Lane#1's to distribute it as they wish. I certainly think the product is worth the money.

Since you are in it now Beans, I think even more than the sleight of hand about prices of balls, the fact that Lane #1 bought out the sauce and immediately jacked up the price is a crying shame.

Don't get me wrong Beans, I don't fault YOUR business decision, and it's certainly a good product (and FWIW I'm still on a small bottle I bought from you pre-Lane #1) and certainly SOME price increase is to be expected with two entities trying to make profit from the same product...I just found the amount of the increase obscene, that's all.

Hey Beans, about a month ago I posted that a customer brought in a Chainsaw that he bought for $120 shipped................
And you Beans asked what shop he got it from....cause you were questioning the price...............
As for the Core, That was someone else bringing that up...
So get off your high horse Beans with "why bring"
You asked..............
just in case you wanted to know
now

And I agree with Holland... About the price increase on the sauce....
btw Beans..... Motiv sells their polish for about $10.00... And that is for a 16 oz bottle.... not a 4 oz or 8 oz....
Since your the National Sales manager.... thought you might want to know...

This comparison is ridiculous.
The reason they sell theirs for less and more of the product is because it is an inferior product. Same reason you go to a dollar store, buy multiple of a replica of a good product. It's half as good, if that, and thus can't be sold for the same price as the good stuff.
Motiv's polish will never even be in the same category as the Secret Sauce. Beans mastered this long ago, evidenced by the fact that even those who hate Lane #1, use their polish because it's the best polish on the market.

I bet if I showed you 20 different cores right now from various companies you couldn't get half of them correct. I know I can't, and I keep up with this stuff better than most. Take a look at the similarity of the cores from Columbia, AMF, Ebonite, Hammer, etc. There are very few truly unique cores these days. Roto's core from the Cell, MoRich's EZ-Rev core, that's about it outside the Lane #1 family. Visionary's core from the New Breed series looks a whole lot like one of the Cobalt Bomb cores, if you sharpened the edges a bit. And that's before anyone mentions how much the Twisted Fury cores resemble the W.A.S. core from L1.
The point to make is no matter what Lane #1 comes out with, I'm sure someone will be yelling "copy! copy!" when in fact there really isn't a lot of uniqueness in the market now as it is.

Urban.... Have you tried their polish??? Or are you just making a statement
based on the fact that you think it is not as good....
In fact, have you tried the Sauce?????
Now we have tried and stock both.....
And their polish as well as their cleaners have been very well received....
Both for their performance.... as well as their price....
You do realize.... It's a tough economy out there in the real world... it was in all the papers.... and some people are very much concerned with prices...
Now I have posted several times on the quality of "the Sauce".... However, a 4 oz bottle for $14.95.... is a little pricy.....
So your statement about comparing... makes little sense....

It's more than a little pricey.
To put it in perspective, that's $478.40 per gallon. Even with the bottle factored in (32 bottles to get 1 gallon of product), I don't believe it costs anywhere near $239.20 to produce, and that's what cost would need to be for a 100% markup!

Yes JLS, you are right. I do feel the price is a little on the steep side. I won't disagree with ya there! I have even told Beans directly that I think the price is high. Obviously that doesn't change things given that Lane #1 holds the rights to the polish now.......but nonetheless I do not disagree there.
On the flip side, I have tried polishes from just about every brand out there.....including some joe bloe's polishes from time to time.....and the Secret Sauce beats them all.
Given that Bean's concauction was once a "joe bloe's polish", since her personally made it, I can honestly say, this is the best polish on the market.
People pay top dollar for things that are worth top dollar. Some people compromise and pay less for a much inferior product. It's just how things are. Especially in this economy nowadays.

I think its not fair to use best in terms of polishes. Almost every polish has a different characteristic and are not intended to do the same things.
Bean's polish is nice, great to gloss anything, but I find the Ebonite and Motiv Polishes to be better bang for the buck. The Ebonite and Motiv polishes aren't water based and seem to be easier to control in my honest opinion.
Now with that said, i do keep all the polishes on hand, I just think its not fair to say X is the best or so much better than Y. Its just dumb. The Sauce is a good product but its very expensive, and from a proshop side when selling its just not worth it and customers prefer the bang for the buck in most cases especially with how things are at the moment.
Now back on topic, hopefully the new releases are something different, I am getting tired of the seemingly never ending Diamond stuff, the equipment is good but the marketing and price makes the other companies popularity much greater and its also why I see maybe 1 lane one ball in my local house.

I have to say I disagree. Polish is meant to shine the ball and give it length down the lane. That's it.
That being said, Bean's Secret Sauce tops them all. Requires the least amount per use, and gives the most length out of any polish on the market. None compare to the Sauce.
Forget the shine part. That's the most irrelevant piece of the puzzle.

But, but, but...Jess! The core is the thing? Right? Without the almight diamond core, it's just a (gasp!) ordinary bowling ball!!
Elite is now using it's "own" core designs and using G900 for thier covers..
So, L#1 balls are going to be the new Elite balls without the jeebus cores. What's the difference now?
--------------------
President and founding member of Lucky Lefty's ball of the week club!!
Motto: We have more balls than you!!

The "thing" has always been core/cover combination, whether you're talking about Lane #1 or whoever.
However, there is a place for unique cores, like the Diamond or MoRich's cores over the years, because for people who match up well to them, they really match up well. That's why it's not BS when someone says "Lane #1 balls made my average go up 20 pins." It's completely possible for that to happen. And it's also possible for some people that they'll drop.
I've never thought this company matched up to a wide range of bowlers. Back when I was a speed-dominant, lower-rev player, it was hard for me to get a good look from Lane #1. I spent 12 years in the Storm camp because their stuff matched my game. As I started to work on dropping speed and picking up revs, a lot of the Storm balls I used to like got to be too touchy at the breakpoint.
Unfortunately, this problem is now starting to crop up in some of my Lane #1 gear since the Columbia/900Global transition. And to show that it's about combinations rather than just the core, I am killing with a 900Global Break S75 right now.
Opening up the core design at Lane #1 gives them a chance to attract a wider range of bowlers to the product. They should always pour stuff with Diamonds and Bombs, but they need to branch out from there a little.

In regard to prices on Polish or Balls or whatever, every manufacturer/supplier/seller, etc has a right to sell an item for what ever they want to sell that item for, so it is what it is. However it is hard to convince customers of this... Those who have tried it, love the product....
However again, I have several who do use the "sauce" try Motiv polish.... And they rave about it.....
In these tough times.... A 4 oz bottle for $14.95 or a 16 oz bottle at about $10.95-$12.95.....

Brick, we deal with the public.... In these tough times they are concerned about price....... Now as good as I feel the "sauce" is, the fact remains that it is indeed pricy.....
As a real pro shop operator and not a ballreview pretending..... we must deal with this.....
Now Motiv polish comes in a bottle 4 times the size of the sauce, and it cost less.........
Holland made some great points of the cost........
Yes the sauce is a concentrate.....
Now ask yourself this..... How many pro shops do you see selling the sauce....
I see none................................
why.......................
Well maybe it's the price....
So brick, here in the real world, not the ball reviews I'm a bowler / pro shop pretender.... the price matters to real customers...
So when you say "move on.... You are talking "STUPID TALK"
Now if you want to talk STUPID TALK... go right ahead....I'm sure there are some Ball review pretenders that will listen to you....

Now if you want to talk STUPID TALK... go right ahead....I'm sure there are some Ball review pretenders that will listen to you....
not me....
now
you getting the point
jls, you have two choices...
1. Buy it for the price it costs
2. Don't buy it
Simple as that.

Brick,, and it appears from the lack of pro shops carrying the product, that many have done just that, not stocking it............
Why even Buddies does not stock the "sauce".......
So brick, tell me oh wise one.... who is winning here.....
But guess what brick, may I call you brick, old wise one.....
We sure are selling boo koo of Motiv's polish and cleaners.....
And Brick, I seriously doubt that this polish is being made in someones garage, so more then likely 3 M is probbaly making it.....
So much of what holland says, makes sense.......
Now Brick, carry on and continue to play Mr Pro shop....
Ya real sharp, don't stock the product cause it cost too much.. Two choices...
Well brick, may I call you Brick...
We do, but we sell boo koo more Motiv.....<<<<that's a lot....

Check your history ... 3M started off in a building more then half the sizes of our garages today.
I would rather pay for a product I can use a few drops of and then just spray the towel after a few uses and its ready to go show me that with motiv.
As far as paying more for balls polish etc... Where are all the folks that dropped the high dime on quantum ? Can't tell me not a single one of the big b folks here didn't hop on board with them.

Who's whining? Is all criticism whining? If not, what types are not, I'd be curious to find out.
I indicated that I'm a past customer, still happily, of Beans' polish (I own a Lane #1 ball too, but that's beside the point). I indicated that I am dissatisfied with the fact that the price was arbitrarily increased when Lane #1 took over distribution. Maybe at some point someone will see that, analyze before and after sales numbers, and drop the price. Maybe not. In any event, praise and criticism is the point of a forum dealing with product reviews, is it not?

Brick, to quote sir rags, reading is a skill, you should learn it....
Over and over again I have posted that we STOCK the Sauce as well as many other polish's......
Over and Over I have posted about the quality of this product....
Yet you come on this site to play silly games and post your Stupid Talk....
Now as a real pro shop, not a pretender like so many on this site....I have the right to question the cost of any bowling related product.... That affects my cusomers...
Now boy, if you don't like that, ask me, go ahead and ask me if I care......
You see, you mean nothing to me, actually, less then nothing....
However I do care about giving my customers a good product and a decent price...
And when a product appears to be a little pricy....Especially during these hard times, I will raise a question as to its cost....
Now boy, go play with someone else, cause you really know nothing about the retail pro shop business...
And it is clear, you have a problem with reading and understanding what you just read.... Your comprehension level is low...............
So stop playing your silly sawhead game, cause I 'm not bashing their polish...
I'm pointing out its cost has seem to hurt its sales in my shop....
Most companies would like to hear info like this....
As I pointed out, even BUDDIES, a major online dealer selling their products, does not stock the sauce..... Golly gee Beaver, I wonder why...
Now Brick, you bore me with your stupidity... go play with someone else who wants to listen to your nonsense...
Cause I don't
now

Holland is a perfect example of what I'm talking about... A customer who has used the Sauce and liked it.... However in these tough times, he now may feel it is not cost friendly....
This may lead him to use another product....
A smart company may want to hear these things about their products sales...
And maybe adjust their cost....
As beans pointed out, the cost of many highend balls from Lane One has gone down about $40.00 a ball...... why????? Golly gee Beaver, maybe because of the economy..................... Are you getting this Brick, or should I type
R E A L S L O W, for you.......
Now at $14.95 for a 4 oz bottle, compared to just about everyone else selling 4 or 5 oz bottles for about $11.00.... their product is pricy...
And with Motiv's product being in a 16 oz. bottle for about $10.95.... It turns customers heads.....
So you see Brick, what I'm trying to do here is point out real info to Beans the National Sales Manager.
Unlike you, who just come to be a suckup....
just so you know

not on topic since others have decided that polish is more important to talk about vs the impending release but
when one can use 1/4 the polish and accomplish the same task, doesnt the higher price warrant itself?
now back to the new ball releases
first ball will be the dynamo x2 hybrid, this is all I know (well that i will talk about until its officially out)I will say its 4k plus polish and supposedly blue in color
the other ball will be unveiled today

SO, the Dynamo X2 Hybrid will be a drier lane ball...or at least I'm assuming because of the 4K / polish finish?
Probably more of a skid/snap reaction to it?

I was told it would fit under the dynamo with both in OOB condtion
I personally keep my dynamo at 4k plus polish (and since we are talking polish, I use the ebo factory refinisher for my polish) and i absolutely love it at that surface, i can crank it up or i can push it down the lane, and it has no trouble finishing
I will get the new one and take my existing back to OOB and have one for oil one for mediums

I've thrown my friends Dynamo (drilled stacked), and for me it was kind of a "EHH" ball. The reaction was OK, and the carry was OK, but I'm not sure it would be a good ball for me. Maybe if it was drilled differently.

Our drill specs are actually very close, and we can throw each others equipment fairly easily without any adjustments, so it's not like I had to use 10 pieces of tape in the thumb hole or anything.
It's also kind of gotten to a point where I need to be more selective on what I'm buying. I've already got several decent heavy/medium oil balls that I'm happy with.

Now since you have already shown that you can't read, it is apparent that you can't do math either. Ounce for ounce, Beans polish does many-many more balls than other polishes, so in the end it is cheaper. Even triggerman stated...."when one can use 1/4 the polish and accomplish the same task, doesnt the higher price warrant itself?" .... All this hype about a big thing coming down the pike from Lane 1 and its a mid priced ball?

Brick, when you learn how to read you will will notice the word I used called, >>>> concentrate..............
And I do Stock the product, and Sell it, as posted....
And when you learn somthing about the retail world, you will realize that the consumer checks the price out first, Now nowhere on the bottle does it say, concentrate.... therefore boy, the consumer would have no way of knowing that........
So the consumer will do what they always do, buy on price....

Now I don't know or care much about you or trig.... I have no idea what retail experience you both have......
Gas companies price their gas at $2.99.9 ........... Not $3.00.....
There is a reason they do that..... Since you know little or nothing about retail, you probably would not understand why they do that.....

Steven, yes we do. I try to point that out to anyone buying polish... However Steven, I can't always be there to talk to someone who just walks in to buy some polish, especially if I'm in the middle of drilling a ball...
Many times people have said they do not like concentrates, their too costly and since most are use to using them, they forget it's a concentrate and use way too much..... And that is costly.....
Instead of asking me that question, why don't you direct it towards Beans, the National Sales Manager...... Is it on the bottle???? I don't recall seeing it..... So maybe it would be a good idea for Lane One to let customers know it's a concentrate..... By putting that fact on the label....
Then Steven you wouldn't have to come on and ask me that foolish question...
You see Steven, I don't make the product..... I just try to sell the product...
But if Lane One DOSEN'T BOTHER TO POST IT, why are you acting like a know it all and trying to pin this on me......
Now Steven, you know you're a suckup, so ask this question to the NATIONAL SALES MANAGER OR RICHIE.... Why don't they post it's a concentrate so the consumer will know that is the reason the product may be a little pricy....
Steven / Brick, neither one of you have any Retail sense or knowledge...
Now do what you both do best, play joe pro bowler on BR.COM

jls,
So sad that you know nothing about retail sales. If you did, you would explain to your customers that since it is a concentrate, they are getting more for their money than they would if they bought one of the other polishes.
But oh, I forgot that your math skills are zilch, so you wouldn't be able to figure that out to tell them they are getting more for their money with Beans Sauce. Since you can't read either, maybe you can have someone read this to you a half dozen times and then maybe, just MAYBE you might eventually-accidently understand, but sadly I doubt that you would. It is hard to get the uneducated ones like yourself to understand anything.
With all of your posts being so funny and a joke and your having no chance in the real retail world to ever make a living, you might try getting on one of those late night shows as a comedian with your jokes since that appears to be all of the skills you have.
Thanks for the laughs and have a nice day.

As anyone can see, this little Boy Brick can't really come up with an answer..... He just tries to blame me for the fact that it's a concentrate...
I have 32 feet of shelf space devoted to polish and cleaners.... I carry Most of the major brands.....
Yet this person thinks it's up to me to inform the free world....
Yet he can't or won't address the fact that maybe Lane One should have posted it on their label.....
It's so much easier for Brick to try and blame me..... One who actually sells the product....And does indeed try to point this out... But sometimes i might be in the middle of drilling a Rogue Cell or a Virtual Gravity, and just don't have the time to stop and do Lane Ones job....
Now more then likely this SUCKUP IS WAY TOO CHEAP TO BUY THIS PRODUCT...especially since it is widely known that most sawheads are big ebay users.............
So Brick, get lost, you're a suckup, nothing more. A little brown nose suckup trying to act like a big shot....

jls: I thought I had asked a fair question. You actually started your response reasonably. But it didn't take long for you to get defensive and disheveled. It really wasn't necessary.
The 'value added' is the what you should be providing based on your own experience with each bowling product you sell. Otherwise, why as a consumer would I go into your shop instead of just buying off the internet?
What real 'retail experts' do is make sure the customer gets the right information, even when a store associate is not available. Look at Trader Joe's. They have neat little descriptive signs below most products, providing information you wouldn't have otherwise. Why is it difficult to do the same with the products you sell?
Think out of the box instead of throwing insults and getting defensive. Your attitude doesn't make any sense.

Now you know.....
jls, you're doing good with your comedy skit. Keep practicing and you might make it yet. Maybe there is hope after all, but I doubt it.
HAVE A NICE DAY.

Brick
Brick, Sorry no more time to waste on you... I'm busy making large signs for all my employee's to wear, saying the Sauce is a concentrate...
And I as well as anyone with a brain can see, you and Steven don't have the guts to question Lane One or Beans about why they didn't bother to let the consumer know.....
Oh Oh, I know why, they were depending on shops like me to do this....
now get lost

The companies who make the product are the ones who let the consumers know of this.... Your Lane One, dropped the ball here Steven...
I'd agree that Lane#1 should have a better marketing label. They're missing a real opportunity to get the message for the Sauce across. They read the forums, so maybe they'll get the hint.

So don't act stupid like Brick and try to blame real pro shops....
The only stupidity being shown here is your continued defensiveness. If you stock the Sauce, you obviously want to sell it. Put a little descriptive sign below the Sauce bottles that gives the customer what they need to know. You might even increase sales.
What a concept.

jls, hopefully you will have someone help you with your signs since you can't read, much less write anything understandable except comedy.
I have to leave now to go bowl and in the mean time....
Keep practicing on your comedy skit and HAVE A NICE DAY.

Steven, I agree with CGSUKS, the boat sailed and you and brick were not aboard....
Now as for sales, I sell boo koo of Ebonite's polish, A decent amount of brunswick's polish, Black Magic, Storm, and now Motiv's polish...And I don't need to promote it or give each and every customer a song and dance about it...
Now as for the Sauce, I stock it, if it sells, great.... But since it is by far my slowest moving polish.... I can live without it....
now
are we clear
Steven, stop telling me what to do or how to sell Lane One's polish... Tell Beans or Richy......
And as for Brick, he is brain dead, no use even talking to him, he comes on and ducks questions and tries hard to flip flop things around... He's an idiot...
still clear

Sounds like a great attitude for selling and maximizing profit. It flies in the face of conventional business wisdom, but nobody ever accused you of being conventional. And what else can I say when you defer to CGsSuK for your wisdom and insights? Absolutely remarkable.

"SELLING AND MAXIMIZING PROFITS" wow Steven, that was good....
Now why don't you tell that to Lane One.....And maybe they will put "concentrate" on the bottle for all to see....
Steven, please, stop pretending you know anything about retail....
You and that idiot will bend over backwords to defend lane One....
If you product is pricy because it's a concentrate, they a SMART company lets the consumer know that.....
All you and that idiot have tried to do is make me out the bad guy cause very few places stock their polish.... cause it's pricy.....
Even Buddies does not stock the polish, at least they didn't the last time I checked with them....
Golly gee beaver, I wonder why.......
I brought in their polish this past season and turned on a few customers to it... The feedback was excellent.....
However Steven and your friend the idiot, it a tough economy, many bowlers are cutting back... And buying the most expensive polish on the market is a no no....
You did hear that it's a bad economy right.... It was in all the papers...
Of course I really don't expect brick to be able to read or understand that....
But I thought you would.....
Lane One is so busy hyping their balls to jump off cliffs and fly over tall buildings, that the dropped the ball on informing the consumer about their polish being a concentrate.
Now Steven, move on
