LANE #1 ON THE WEST COAST
« on: April 29, 2007, 11:25:30 AM »
Just to let Lane #1 fans know i have a full stock of all the current balls ....i think i must sell the most buzzsaws on the West Coast.
I do not sell online, and just wanted to let Bowlers know, that i work out of Corbin bowl, Tarzana, Los Angeles,CA.
I  have been drilling balls for 20 years, and i have been using Lane#1 exclusively for 4 years, so i know how the balls react, and the best drillings to suit a certain bowlers style/needs.
I only drill a ball having watched the bowler on the lanes, and i have drilled for many of the Regional players in my area.
I can be reached on 8189962295 for all your buzzsaw needs!

Hi Roy,
Normally, 5x3 will give you more of a predictable, strong roll on the backend verses a 5x5. 5x5 in most cases will give you more angle, or a sharper turn at the back. I say "normally" because in this game there are many variable to consider: release, ball speed, axis tilt, break point, angle of entry into the pocket, lane conditions, etc. On paper two bowler could have the same stats, but still could look different.
I hope this helps.

I am shooting to be there Saturday, May 12th, between 10 and 10:30 AM, if anyone from that area is wanting to meet me.  I will also have all my Saws for anyone wishing to see their reactions and power.  My cell is 760-555-3932; hope to see a few people there.

Had a great time with Sawmill this am..Sharon drilled up a nebula with drill specs from Chuck....she no doubt will explain the drilling.....we had previously bowled a couple of games on a house shot...Sawmill brought some cobalts, hrg, scb, carbide plus..I brought some test balls to show him, uranium with cobalt core, modified gold nugget, with pearl coverstock and c2 core, and a rare c2 core ball with an azo coverstock, oatmeal colored.
We both bowl with similar speed and revs....17MPH AND 375 REVS
We were not sure how the nebula would roll, but all I can say is WOW! Basically the pin is below the ring finger, and cg slightly in, everything tight..no weight hole!
This ball had a VERY strong even roll, and Sawmill kept moving inside and still the ball would come back!
Basically firing the ball over the 4th arrow, shooting it out towards the 6 pin,,,after 5 strikes in a row, i'm off to try that drilling ! Well done Sharon and Chuck!
Good bowling Sawmill!

Yes!!! Thanks Sharon for getting the specs to a tee she is definitely as good as advertised, and Chuck can go into business for layouts that fit a persons game.  He was looking for a reaction that was stronggggg and continuous, and it was just that.  Even with my speed, it will handle medium to oily with ease.  I was skeptical with a cg in ball, as I usually need out for my speed, BUT, let me say it AGAIN, BUT it was so impressive that I see this ball out of my bag first for quite awhile.  Thanks Scottie for the compliment, and sorry for my forearm getting like a noodle, BUT that is what I get for rolling so many games when I habe NOT rolled a single frame for a year.  Look forward to forming an ALL Buzzsaw team with you and Sharon, so long as you don't think I will be too much handicap.

Not even close, especially since my forearm was shot, which decreased my speed drastically.  I had to walk along the ball return, then drift purposely left to throw it enough right to stay on the head pin.  I would still also say that even with my speed, the amount of oil would ave broken down really soon, creating the same situation.  Both balls are awesome, and Chuck's layouts were superb.

They are awesome; have not used them comp. wise, but will be using them (or at least the Nebula) primarily.  I am also going to carry my HRG, as I do not see enough oil for the Solid G-Force.  I will keep you posted, and let me know about any tourneys with you and Scottie.
