CG out will allow the use of a weight hole to fine tune the reaction.

Lane 20, I would go with a 5 x 3 3/8. Bring the side back to 5/8 pos. and leave 3/4 - 1 oz top. =:^D

I like my Saws, but I can't see where this BB would benefit me when all I seem to ever see anymore in around this area, is medium oil.

I am new here and have been wondering something as I read these forums.  What makes you guys buy Lane 1 stuff?

You just opened a Pandora's Box with that inquiry.

When I bought my first one, it was because I had not seen one locally. It was the quest to be different. Once I threw the first one for a while, it really worked well with my game. I bought another. That one also matched up very well. I found initially, it was much easier to put together a small arsenal from one company, than to try to get balls from several companies that would not overlap. After I built an arsenal, I had a problem with a ball. I contacted Lane #1 directly and they replaced it...no questions asked. Since then, I have only tried a couple other balls outside of Lane #1. They were fine, but no better. So I decided to stay with one company. Yes, they cost a little more than some other balls. I don't care. The equipment works well for me. The customer service is fantastic. Just don't get dragged into the constant mud-slinging in the forums

In short, the Lane #1 loyalists will proclaim how they score better, hit harder etc etc. The vilifier's will say they pay for overpriced equipment etc etc. The arguments get intense at a rapid rate and all civilized discussions are at an end.

I had never heard of Lane 1 until i found the BBE site from a friend.  I havent bowled in many years and didnt know that Brunswick moved to Mexico until reading these boards.  You said that they cost more, how much more?  Sorry for the Hijack

If your pro-shop is on the ball, the Lane #1 balls will be very close to other high end balls (Storm, Ebonite, etc). If you are buying online, Lane #1 may be $20-$30 higher. For Example...new Lane #1 Buzzbomb $178 shipped vs. Ebonite Complete NV $146 shipped. I am not saying the balls are similar...they are apples and oranges...meant for different reactions...I am just comparing 2 new releases.
