I'm proud to announce that after a 12 yr. hiatus, Lane #1 will once again be represented @ the USBC National Tournament in Albequerque, featuring our own Lane #1 booth. It's been a long time coming and I'm happy to say that we look forward to seeing all of our Buzzhead faithfuls.
I'm very pleased and fortunate to say that Mr. Tom Biniek Jr. will be our driller and booth manager. Tom has been a long time supporter of Lane #1 and has owned and operated a Pro Shop for over 15 years. Tom brings to the table a wealth of knowledge and experience, while building quite a name for himself along the way. You all know him on the internet as Beans, from Beans Pro Shop. Beans is a fine bowler also. While on our staff, Beans was placed in the top 20 in points on the Eastern PBA Regionals before injuring his wrist, which ended his fine season.
Beans is also the one who's brought us the "Secret Sauce" ball polish. Now you can finally come and meet the man who's helped many of you get started with our fine Lane #1 products.
Also working and drilling in our booth will be the bowling legend himself, Rudy "Revs" Kasimakis. Rudy is well known for his massive amounts of revs he puts on the bowling ball, showing everyone how pin crushing the ball can be. Rudy was a major force in the amature ranks, winning almost every one of the top major events. Rudy is also famous for bowling in "pot games" or "action matches" against any and all comers, including many of the top PBA Professional bowlers.
Rudy is fun to watch when he's bowling, and is a big draw anytime you see him on the lanes. Rudy has siince joined the PBA and has made a couple of shows. More recently when finished bowling on Tour, Rudy would Tour Rep our balls, getting them into the likes of such bowlers as Amleto Monacelli, Chris Collins, Danny Wiseman and Chris Loschetter, who made the TV show twice using Lane #1 balls.
Not only a great bowler is Rudy, but as you can see layout and drilling wise, Rudy knows his stuff.
So there you have it. The big news of this year so far. Lane #1 is proud to be serving all of our fellow sawheads personally, as well as the rest of the bowlers who come to the USBC Nationals this year. Good luck and good bowling at the Tourney.
