My Viper Pearl

I thought I seen a Viper with Teal lettering instead of yellow, I thought that might be a difference or maybe I had to much to drink.. Also I've been told that the pearl might have had either a "V" or "Lane#1" on the diamond.
Well I went today to pick up my new Viper from my ball driller today, and we got started BSing about this other Viper he had sitting on the shelf. This Viper has been sitting there as long as I can remember (4+ years) and had been plugged but never finished. Well needless to say he said he'd finish it and I can have it free...
It is a solid version just like my original one, only thing this one looks almost black. Maybe it was just the lighting, maybe it was just from sitting on the shelf for so long, or maybe I'm just crazy.
What I want to know is how do I tell if my Viper Pearl in the original or the re-release?
. And was there a 4th version of the Viper?

Original Viper was the solid then they released the pearl...both had the logos with the V as the integral part of the logo. Then they discontinued them both.
The Viper Pearl was then reintroduced a couple of years later with the different logo.
