How to drill a Hybrid Dirty Bomb?
« on: June 26, 2005, 08:50:40 AM »
Just ordered a Hybrid Dirty Bomb.
Don't want it overly snappy.
Any suggestions on drilling?
Anyone have pics of their drill on this ball?
Really looking forward to throwing this one!
Thanks!

Just to toss an idea out, you might want to try thumb leverage.  7/10 on midlane and 6/10 on backend.  Should be strong, yet not overly snappy.

they have pics and vids of it on the lane#1 website

I believe the layout on the ball Mike is throwing on the video might be close to thumb leverage.

Is the PAP distance measured from grip center? If so, my PAP is about 6" from grip center and about 1/2" up. Lane conditions are what I would consider medium oil with a christmas tree pattern. Oil to 32', buff to 40'. I have an RSX that works well on these conditions drilled 3-3/8 X 3-3/8 stacked with a balance hole on the PAP. Pin on that one is 2" to the right of ring finger.
Thanks for the help!
