I've plugged a fully cracked ball before.

Drill 2-3 small holes along the crack, fill the sides on each(in the crack) with putty.  Build a dam around the drilled holes, fill, cut, repeat the next day.  It's something I did while bored in the shop and it came out decent but would never ever reccommend it for a paying customer as a fix.

OR, you could try to explain why it took 2 months, and you made 75 dollars, so carry the 1, add the cents..

You made a little over a dollar a day, MINUS the material you used to do this.

I learned this, you sir, know how to make some high dollars.  Why even waste your time, you own a "business" isn't it about making money?  People should be flocking to you since your the "man" and know everything right?  How did you have time for this?

Please come off your high horse and back down to reality whenever you choose.  You make yourself look really great on these boards don't ya know?  Hell if i lived closer i would come to your shop (sarcasm) and get my cracked balls fixed by you,  Wait, i have NONE, they are not lane 1!!!

I agree with most people that posted, throw those pieces of shart and excuses for bowling balls in the dumpster, where they F'in belong.

I could have just as easily kept the thread open.  It would have done nothing but prove your ignorance time and time again.

It WAS done because it CAN be done.  Whether or not you come off your high horse of infinite lack of knowledge and come to grips with the fact that the balls were in fact cracked in the manner the pictures show and in fact they were plugged.

It's ok that you can't do what Beans can and are jealous.  It really is.  But no need for the huge personal attacks there lad....

I'll ask again, why pay to fix cracked bowling balls you'll never use again?

Seems like a waste of money.

Cuz I felt like it.  Cuz I have the $ to do that.  I wanted to keep them.  I could have easily cracked them apart and pulled the core for display in the shop.  Decided instead to have them fixed.  I indeed might drill them again but have decided not to for now.

Close but a waste of putty...It works better if you use Wizard and let it get as close to hardening as you could and then smear it along the crack so it fills the void...Drill out crack and plug, Cut, light sand and repeat..Then sand the plug lines with 180 grit to smooth out the ball. Then Haus machine and finish... Ta da....Far too much work and plug involved to do this. Again, I tried to talk him out of it bt he insisted...

$75 per ball?? I'll do it!
