i drill it up, i am getting used to it, and about an hour after its maiden voyage down the planks, disaster strikes.
i BARELY catch the outside edge of a 7 pin, it goes into the ed of the gutter and JUMPS up and into the pit. i sickly waited for it to come back, because i knew it had to have gotten chewed up. sure enough, there's a piece of her missing right below the thumb. it isnt HUGE, but its roughly 3/4" long, 1/2" wide and 1/4" deep. luckily for me the manager and i are really cool, i showed him and he let me take the ball home tonight, with a damage sheet, and i can bring it back if i decide to within a week. i couldn't stand the thought of leaving a freshly drilled ball in the house for another week til i can go get it just because of that.
should i even have the pro shop fix it? its not going to hurt my game or anything. it isn't even that unsightly due to the ball coloration. i am really angered by it all.
