I usually have pins that are 2-3", but recently came into an old Pearl Carbide C2, outstanding condition, with what looks like a 4-5" pin. Current layout has the in approx 1:30, about 2-3 from ring, and the CG/Diamond near the thumb, stacked, inline under the pin.
What I want this for is to use between my SCB and Pear Uranium, for say medium to oily. I want early lane read, with good back end finish. Keep in mind my profile (which you can view), with special attention to ball speed. I was thinking of just moving the fingers, which would put the pin a bit closer to ring, in the same position.
Any comments will be appreciated, and of course I will run this by Doug Sterner when able, in case he does not read this thread.
