I have my own opinion on this but I'd like to hear from others. My tech specs are in my profile.

Looking for a 5-1/2 x 5 drilled ball...Lane 1 of course and preferably pearl. Need a ball to scoot a good long ways and then come hard on the backend. I have a PowerGroove drilled as such and it is adequate most of the time but I'd like a bit more pop at the pins....

Which saw fits the bill?

mediumrevs hit it on the nose already even a silver diamond if you can find one still i am lucky enough to have two but was stupid and sold off my emerald along time ago on here to someone.

Doug, I have a Saw that goes a very long ways then makes a very hard left turn.  BUT, there are two problems with it as far as this post is concerned:
1) it's drilled 5.5 x 3 (or close) rather than 5.5 x 5, pin above ring, cg on line from pin to pap
2) it's my original Silver Diamond which will leave me only when ripped from my cold dead hands.

But, you might consider this layout on a Silver.  Excellent for playing the twig.

Nah, L1B...trust me if I had my choice I'd use a weaker ball like the Silver Diamond or XL. I'd give my right arm to have another Emerald to try it with....

I could try a Uranium PEarl but I don't think it would have enough length....
