Who pours Lane 1 covers these days anyway?


I have been out of bowling for about 9 months so, please excuse my ignorance. I know some things might have got shuffled around with Ebonites acquisitions. Thank you for any info.

I am curious to know who is pouring the G-Force, Neb, and Evo now?  Lane#1 still lists them on their site as current line equipment and they are not retired.  Are they just waiting to sell all of their old stock sitting in the warehouse or is 900Global pouring them now?

I'd guess that production has ceased and that any NIB ball of this series ia a stock piece. If I remember correctly, that's just what happened when the Brunswick-poured balls were stopped. Still "current" balls, but out of production and still somewhere in the supply chains.

Ok, so you confirm what I said. You simply don't match up. End of story.

Where do I say Global is Lane #1? If anything I completely separate the two, something it appears you waffle on, saying there is a difference, but then also talking about how the covers have made the product inferior. You want to not like the new Saws while continuing to like the Lane #1 brand because of your past success...God forbid you criticize the Lane #1...after all, they are only the ones making the executive decision to put X cover on Y core. They are the ones who believe the G-Force was good. They are the ones who believe the new stuff is good. So if you don't agree, you don't agree with Lane #1.

Finally, what does having a Saw have to do with being able to talk about one? That is the most ridiculous argument -- to say someone can't talk about it because they haven't "experienced" something. Sorry, you can have knowledge without being or doing something...there is such a thing as study, reading, etc.

I responded to clarify the difference between the 900 Global covers and the Lane #1 ones...I think I did that. Nowhere did I say Lane #1 "was" anything. I never made any judgments on the product -- only you have.
