Emerald Buzzsaw coverstock?
« on: January 16, 2004, 08:49:05 AM »
Lane#1 calls it "Xtra Length reactive".
So is it Brunswick's N-Control from the ScreamR and the Frenzy
OR
is it the XLR from the Purple Fuze Pearl?

i don't know but i have seen the reaction and would wager that it is the fuze cover.. it arcs more than i expected and n'control is a skid flip monster on anything i have seen, the fuze was more arc than i thought it would be.. leads me to believe that this would be the case

I thought it may be the covers from the
Zone X series.

I have found the Emerald to work exceptionally well on most medium to lighter oil conditions. This ball is a handful on the drier and if you get an extreme wet/dry but I have been able to use it ANYWHERE as long as there are some dry boards.

The Emerald is very adaptable to hand position and speed changes which has allowed me the liberty of using it as my #1 out of the bag.

Doug, John

Don't want to be a smart a $ $ here, however.........
I don't believe this has anything to do with charlest post ? What coverstock is it ? Not...what can it do, or how it compares to other balls ?

Or, am I reading his post the wrong way?

although extra length reactive, thus the fuze cover, makes sense... I was under the impression the emerald used the same cover as the XL which is the same as the zone X's?  If that's the case, the difference between the emerald and the XL is core dynamics...with the emerald having the stronger core of course...
